PROJECT PROPOSALS:
APPLICATIONS & FORMS
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, CEKC can offer organizations in rural communities assistance in applying for and administering grants to develop projects and programs aligned with our mission and purpose. We also offer training and technical resources to help your community project be a success.
We assess a 5% administrative fee for all grants or other funds obtained using CEKC's Tax ID Number.
STEPS TO APPLY FOR CEKC FISCAL SPONSORSHIP
Contact a CEKC Board Member to discuss your project prior to a monthly Board Meeting. Review the following documents, and request to make a brief presentation to the Board. Meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 9:30am at the Lyle Activity Center and online.
1. PRIOR TO THE MEETING
Connect with a CEKC Board member or Administrative Assistant to share an overview of your project and procure a Project Application. Submit your completed application to cekcwa@gmail.com for review.
2. AT THE MEETING
Present your request to the CEKC Board as arranged, and engage any additional discussion or Q&A. Bring your questions about CEKC fiscal sponsorship as well.
3. FOLLOWING THE MEETING
If your project is approved, additional forms will be required to complete your onboarding as a sponsored project, including the MOU, Use of 501(c)(3) agreement, and proposed activities review for insurance coverage. CEKC administrative staff will assist in your orientation.
