Join us to learn what resources are in our community that support the health, safety and education of local families and children. These are open public meetings and all are welcome.
When in Goldendale they are held quarterly at Klickitat Valley Health from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. For 2020 they will be held the first Wednesday in February, May, September and December. Click here for the full 2020 meeting schedule.
These meetings are sponsored by the Skamania Klickitat Community Network. Other sites where the meetings are held are White Salmon at Skyline Hospital and Stevenson Community Library.

Gleaning is simply the act of collecting excess fresh foods from farms, gardens, farmers markets, grocers, restaurants, or any other sources in order to provide it to those in need.
The Goldendale Gleaners work to gather foods that are not used in the stores, but are good to eat.
After obtaining the produce they donate the food to local food banks and people of low income who are in need. The Gleaners also give food to New Hope Farms, the senior center, and the soup kitchen. They work with the Gorge Grown Food Network/Columbia Gorge Gleaning Project.
